Ross Tregenza is a BAFTA-Nominated, DICE award-winning composer and sound designer from Cornwall, UK. His music can be heard in  the games Helldivers 2, Cyberpunk 2077, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Deathloop, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, Dead Island 2, Team Sonic Racing, Timesplitters 2 & 3 and many more.

Over the years he’s come to specialise in horror, sci-fi, and thriller as his main genres, and has focused on dark electronic, experimental and Avant Garde music styles.

His musical career grew from his love of Gothic and Industrial music from the mid ‘90s onwards. Around this time, he formed the bands Sneaky Bat Machine and Goteki, with which he released many albums and played hundreds of live shows around the world, receiving cult acclaim.

In the early 2000s, Tregenza would also join the freshly reformed version of chart topping 1980s New Romantic band Visage, fronted by Steve Strange. He wrote and performed with Visage for the following seven years.

2007 saw Tregenza joining the games industry, primarily as a sound designer, and also  co-scoring games including  Timesplitters 2 and Timesplitters: Future Perfect.

From that point on, he expanded his role in game audio, working as a sound designer, audio director, and composer on major titles. He co-composed the score for Homefront: The Revolution while also contributing to projects such as Crysis 2Crysis 3, and Star Citizen in various audio capacities.

In 2019 he co-scored games such as  Team Sonic Racing, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, and contributed additional music to Cyberpunk 2077. The success of this work would lead to increasingly high profile composing roles, including his BAFTA-nominated co-score for Deathloop, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Dead Island 2, and mostly recently his co-score for Helldivers 2, for which he won the 2025 DICE Outstanding Achievement in Music award, is longlisted for a BAFTA, and is nominated for three  awards at GANG 2025.
