Jack Wall is a BAFTA-nominated and multi-award-winning composer best known for his cinematic scores for some of the world's most popular video game titles. He is celebrated among a Hollywood elite of composers invited to score the world’s biggest interactive entertainment property, Call of Duty, having composed the score for Call of Duty: Black Ops II, III, & IV and most recently, the highly anticipated Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. He is also well known for his work on games including Mass Effect I & II, the Myst series, Jade Empire and many others. Wall’s other recent projects include Freeform’s supernatural drama series Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments, and the high-octane feature Hard Target 2 available on Netflix. His music can also be heard on numerous other TV series including the CW fantasy drama Reign

Wall has been highly lauded for his scores. He received ASCAP awards for Shadowhunters and for his work on Black Ops II. For his score for Black Ops III, which featured solo performances from contemporary jazz vocalist Antonia Bennett, daughter of legendary singer Tony Bennett, Wall was nominated for GameTrailers’ Soundtrack of the Year. Black Ops IV was described by Forbes as “One of the series’ best yet.” Wall’s score for BioWare’s sci-fi epic Mass Effect garnered British Academy (BAFTA) and Spike TV nominations. Other recognitions include Music of the Year at the Game Developers Conference for Myst IV: Revelation, and multiple Soundtrack of the Year honors for his scores for Ubisoft’s Myst III: Exile. He was bestowed with Game Audio network Guild’s Best Original Soundtrack Album award for his work on Jade Empire.

In addition to his numerous achievements as a composer, Wall served as Music Director and co-producer for composer/librettist Cindy Shapiro’s PSYCHE: A Modern Rock Opera, an innovative modern retelling of the ancient Greek. He also co-created Video Games Live and served as its Music Director/Conductor from 2005 through 2010 conducting more than fifty of the world’s finest orchestras including the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, and London Philharmonia Orchestra. Wall Co-founded the Game Audio Network Guild, a global organization focused on networking, education, advocacy, and recognition within the game audio community. He is also a frequent lecturer at educational institutions including Columbia College, USC, UCLA, Expressions Center for New Media, The Los Angeles Recording School, and Berklee College in Boston.

With a repertoire that encompasses an extensive range of musical styles and influences, Wall continues to bring fresh ideas to some of the world’s most high profile projects, entertaining audiences across the globe.
