Patrik Andrén

Patrik Andrén is an award winning composer for film, TV and video games now living in Toronto, Canada. He is best known for his music in the TV series The Bridge (Bron, four seasons) and the AAA Electronic Arts video games Battlefield 1 and 5.

Born in Sweden, Andrén began writing and playing keyboards in bands as a teen, then moved to Boston to get a Degree in Film Scoring at Berklee College of Music. He later returned to Stockholm and spent a decade as a musician and keyboardist producing and writing for various pop acts before his journey in film music commenced.

Andrèn composed the score for Department Q: The Keeper of Lost Causes (Kvinnan i Buret) and The Absent One (Fasandräparna), and contributed music to the scores for Kon-Tiki (Academy Award nominated), Serena (starring Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence), and The King’s Choice (Kongens Nei), among other projects.

In October 2022, Andrén’s music was featured as part of DICE’s 30th anniversary concert in Stockholm. The spectacle concert was produced in partnership with the Swedish Royal Opera and featured bespoke projections and visuals by artist Andreas Nilsson.
