Hannah Parrott
Hannah Parrott is an American composer, arranger, and vocalist.
Born in Los Angeles, Parrott earned her B.M. in music composition from Biola University’s Conservatory of Music, going on to work with notable composers James Horner, Thomas Newman, and Jacob Shea. A rising force in the industry, Hannah is currently scoring DreamWorks Animation’s The Croods: Family Tree and has written music for Netflix, National Geographic, History Channel, Discovery Channel, and Nike. Hannah also works extensively with independent filmmakers, most recently scoring longtime collaborator Maureen Bharoocha’s latest feature film, Golden Arm, a buddy comedy set in the world of female arm wrestling. Hannah’s work has debuted at prominent film festivals around the world such as the South by Southwest, Cannes Film Festival: American Pavilion, the Los Angeles Film Festival and the San Diego Comic-Con International Independent Film Festival.
In addition to traditional scoring, Hannah composes music for trailers and has had music featured in the trailers for blockbuster hits like Paramount’s Terminator: Dark Fate, Roadside Attractions’ Trial By Fire, and Annapurna’s Operation Finale.
